I originally made this pattern so my kids would have safe poppies to wear during November and I could wear one while holding my baby without stabbing him. It’s ideal for kids but suitable for anyone that wants a cute poppy that won’t poke them or fall off.

Requires a small amount of black and Red SOFT yarn. Poppies made with standard worsted won’t turn out as nice and may require a larger hook.
