This is a hat I put together for my cousin who bought some beautiful yarn from the PEI Fibre Festival. This was made with Green Gable’s Royal Birch Worsted in Wintergreen and BMM Qiviut Worsted.

This is written for 1 size only.

If using Alpaca or similar, consider holding an elastic thread together with the ribbed brim to increase elasticity. This is unnecessary with Wool.

Uses 2 colours, about 45g of the main colour (Shown here in Wintergreen) and about 30g of the contrast colour. (Shown here in the natural Qiviut.)

Knit Picks Wool of the Andes works very well with the pattern as demonstrated by TheCatMont’s beautiful pictures (Pink and Purple). Thanks to my test knitters!
