Amanda’s Lace Knee Socks were designed for my daughter to wear with her school uniform. In Puerto Rico, I could not find any knee socks of any size in any of the clothing stores. Searches online came up with no patterns, so I created this one.

These knee socks need to be made in a very stretchy yarn with memory in fingering weight. In the sample, I used a nylon yarn.

The calf for a small girl/age 5 measures 8 inches.
