Amanda's Starry Shawl
Spread on a dark background, these little stars shine through. Easy enough project for a beginner to master, yet pretty enough for anyone to knit and wear. A knitted in I-cord forms the top edge of the shawl, and a gently curving garter stitch edging forms the bottom edge.
Pattern requires 2 skeins of contrasting colors of fingering weight yarn. I used Color Dance Yarns “Footwear”. You will only be knitting with one color per row--no stranding is involved.
Gauge is unimportant for this project. YAY!
The pattern includes options for changing the length of the shawl and with two skeins, you will have plenty of yarn to make the shawl larger.
