amande cardigan
Amande cardigan est aussi disponible en français.
Amande cardigan is a cardigan with a very unusual construction, similar to her sisters amandine cardigan and amande tee
It is worked seamlessly, in the round from the shouldertop downwards and sideways. It’s a bit tricky to start the special shoulder shaping, but after this first challenging part, it’s plain, mindless knitting. The cardigan is worked flat from the neck opening downwards. The sleeves are worked in the round from the top down. Stitches are picked at the neck and fronts (cardigan) to work the bands.
The pattern includes instructions for 3/4 or long sleeves with matching elbow patches.
It is preferable to work with two different colors to show off the unique construction.
