Amanzimtoti Reversible Cowl
Amanzimtoti (meaning Sweet Waters in Zulu) is inspired by early morning walks on the beach in my beloved home town of Amanzimtoti, South Africa. Colour inspiration is drawn from bright white sunlight dancing on the green-blue seas in winter while dolphins play just off-shore.
The motif is fully charted, with written instructions on getting started (before chart begins) and finishing (after chart is finished).
Approximately 250-260m of yarn were used for the sample, but quantities may change slightly when other yarns are substituted.
30sts & 41.5 rounds = 4 x 4” (10 x 10cm) with 1 strand each, on 2.5mm needle in Stockinette Stitch using the Double Knitting method.
