The meaning of the name Amaranta is the flower that never fades. The Amaranta shoulderette is a top down garter tab shawl. The design blossoms from the center of the pattern and unfurls to wrap around the neck of the wearer. Working your way out from the center, the flower design floats in a lace mesh pattern and the shawl is finished a crocheted cast off.

The instructions are written out line by line.

Finished size: 34 inches long along the garter stitch edge and 12 inches from the center to the edge of the shawl
