Amarillo is a top-down triangular shawl worked in Stockinette stitch with bands of chevron lace spaced down the body and a garter stitch edging that is accented with points of varying lengths.

Yardage and needle sizes are given for size Small, which uses fingering weight yarn, and Medium, which uses sport weight yarn: 400 yards and a size 5 (3.75mm) needle for the Small, and 360 yards and a size 7 (4.5mm) needle for the Medium.

The instructions for the lace are written and charted.

The finished dimensions are approximately 47 (55)“ wingspan and approximately 24 (28)” back length.

The small, yellow shawl is worked in Malabrigo Sock in Ochre, and the medium, red shawl is worked in madlinetosh pashmina in amber trinket.
