Amaroo
In Australian Aboriginal language, Amaroo means beautiful place. This shawl is designed for you to create your beautiful place, and then take it with you, snuggled up and warm. Amaroo is a top down crescent shaped shawl that utilises that one skein of 8ply yarn you adore. The samples here have used a gradient skein; you can use anything that you covet. Team it up with a contrast and get knitting. Get creating. Get your beautiful place and take it with you.
Amaroo can be worked in one 8ply gradient ball coupled up with a contrast. The gradient samples I have knitted are worked in Hollyberry Designs Supersoft Merino Gradient. These gradients are perfect to create your beautiful place.
Heartfelt thanks to Manuela Mindrup for translating the pattern to German :)
Yarn Required:
100g/200m of gradient yarn (can use a solid-semi solid yarn here too)
110m/60g of a contrast colour.
