Amazing Braids is a repeat blanket, the repeat being 51 stitches wide. There is also a 68 row vertical repeat. I made a blanket using 3 repeats horizontally and 2 repeats vertically. Repeat what is between the ( ) for as many times as needed.

I have added a vertical braid which is done using a series of 9 chain stitches which are pulled through the double crochets, looped together and attached at the end of the blanket. The 9 chains are done on each pattern row. Instructions and photos are included in a separate file “Written Instructions for Braid”. Please read this before beginning the blanket, as the 9 chains are worked starting with Row 2.
