Introduction
Ambara is an elongated triangular shawl, knitted from the top down, back and forth. Worked over 4 sets of Right and Left Wing Charts, Ambara alternates different stitch motifs knitted with two colors of merino fingering single-ply as well as kid mohair silk yarn and, sometimes, both held together. The effect resultant of those variations is a textured fabric with a little transparency between curvy motifs. One thing I do love about shawls and wraps (and I hope you do too!) is they are reversible! After all, those pieces are made to casually be thrown in our outfits, adding that special detail to the overall look! All this coolness does not match the worry to have to be checking if we are wearing it at the correct side, right?! And even better if we can add different yarns to make the reversibility even more interesting!

Notes
This shawl is worked back and forth from the top down. Please note that sometimes yarns are held together and sometimes not. Follow the charts directions to know which yarns to use at the time (and if they are held together or not). Check the instructions on Pattern Section to know which fingering yarn color to use as MC at the time. The Right and Left Wing Charts 1 are worked one time; the Right and Left Wing Charts 2 are worked 3 times; the Right and Left Wing Charts 3 are worked 4 times; the Right and left Wing Charts 4 are worked one time.
The stitch motifs are organized by 34 stiches repetition. If you like to use stitch markers, they must be repositioned after each chart repetition.
