Pattern goes into great detail on how to complete this cardigan. I would not suggest this cardigan for a beginner, unless you are really wanting to push your skills to the test, I do provide as much information as possible to help you, so even a beginner should have good success. All you really need to know, in order to make this pattern is the Feather Stitch. Other than that, there are pictures to help you along the way. PDF is quite a few pages long, so the sizes have been split up into two different PDFs in order to make your project easier.
Sizes vary about 1-2”, this gives you about 18 different options of sizes to choose from. Due to this incredible sizing chart, this allows you to choose the best option for you.
I made a 3XL(a), the multicolored, and a 2XL(b), the espresso colored.
For the 3XL(a), I needed about 11 skeins of Yarn Bee Simply Flawless in color Sunwashed Riviera. Each skein was 301yds/ 5oz. Any weight 3, or if you are wanting an even denser fabric, then go up to a weight 4, yarn will work. Check with gauge.
For the 2XL(b), I used 13 donuts of K+C Superwashed Wool Luxe in color Espresso. Each donut was 215yds/ 3.5oz, and a weight 2 or Sport weight.
You will also need a tapestry needle, removeable stitch markers, scissors, and a measuring tape is preferred.
