Ambiente is a top-down, seamless pullover with round neckline, side vents and a pocket.
Upper back part is worked first from shoulders to the underarms
then the stitches of the fronts are picked up from the cast on edges of the back shoulders. Front pieces are worked separately to the bottom of the neck then they are joined together and front is worked in one piece to the underarms.
The shoulders are shaped with short rows and the armholes with regular decreases. The armhole shaping helps to reduce the bulkiness of the fabric at the underarms.
After the pieces of the upper body are complete back and front are joined together and the pocket opening is created at the same time. Body is worked in the round to the side vents, where the pieces are separated again and the back and front hem is worked back and forth in rows with slipped stitch edges.
The stitches of the sleeves are picked up around the armhole and they are worked in the round to the cuffs.
The neckband and the pocket lining are worked at last, you can knit them in a contrasting colour.
