Ambrosial means delightful, and flashdance is a dance that happens spontaneously, and that is just what this shawlette/scarf is all about! Made out of 1 skein of sportweight yarn (I used Madelinetosh’s Pashmina, 360 yards to the skein in the shade of Flashdance), this shawlette is both a delight to look at and almost spontaneous in its “quick-to-work-upedness.” Crescent in shape, it begins with a scroll border, and graduates into a short row body that is decorated in an all-over Japanese cable and lace pattern. The shawlette you see pictured ended up being just over 5 ½ feet in length, and 13 inches at its center, deepest point after it was blocked. Full charts and written instructions are included.
