Amdo Hat
The Amdo Hat is part of the Tibetan Euphony collection designed by Valentina Cosciani for mYak.
A unisex hat worked bottom up in the round. The brim is knit in twisted knit stitch in the first color. The work continues with a simple stranded stitch pattern to gradually pass from the first to the second color.
Finished Measurement:
Brim circumference: 48 cm - 19”
Length: 24.5cm - 9 1/2”
stretches to fit head circumferences 48-54 cm / 19 - 21 1/4”
Yarn:
mYak baby yak Medium
First color (FC) - 1 skein, Saffron colorway
Second color (SC) - 1 skein, Desert colorway
Suggested Needles:
3.5 mm - US 4 with a 40 cm - 16” cable
4 mm - US 6 with a 40 cm - 16” cable;
set of DPNs 4 mm - US 6 for binding off (or circular needle with a 80 cm - 32” cable for magic loop method).

Tapestry needle and scissors
Gauge:
18 stitches & 26 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch, after blocking.
