Amelia Sweater
The perfect sweater for adventurous beginners!
The Amelia Sweater is a dk sweater knit in a loose gauge for a quick sweater to add to your closet! It is a top-down, raglan sweater with sleeve details and a garter seam down the side. The sleeve texture keeps sleeve island interesting and a garter seam down the side to make progress noticeable.
Written in sizes - 32” - 68” chest, with a recommended 2-4” of ease and body shaping options for a boxy fit, hourglass fit, or a custom fit to your own body.
The Amelia Sweater is written to be easy enough to be your first sweater to advance your skills or your 10000 sweater. Multiple testers had never knit a sweater before and ended the test with a stunning sweater! There are lots of helpful links and tips throughout to help.

Gauge:
Smaller needles: 23 sts in 1×1 ribbing = 4 in / 10 cm after blocking
Larger needles: 17 sts x 28 rows stockinette in the round = 4 in x 4 in / 10 cm x 10 cm after blocking
Note: testers using superwash yarn noticed it grew a lot when blocking, test with a bigger swatch than normal and really stretch it, since the weight of your garment will stretch the yarn a bit.
