Choosing your size and fit: The stated measurements are for the actual garment, choose a size with your desired ease, between 0.5” / 1.75 cm negative ease and 3” / 7 cm positive ease is recommended. Check the sizing chart for more details.

Yarn: Samples knitted in:

• Gepard eco cashmere vintage (150m / 50g) Sandnes garn line (110m / 50g)
• BC garn bio balance GOTS (225m / 50g) held with Gepard cashmere lace (350m / 25g)
• Sandnes garn line (110m / 50g)

Note: Be careful with yarn choice the gauge is 18 sts, most DK yarns, especially 150m/50g will be around 20-24sts, eco cashmere blooms A LOT.

Yardage: 175 (200, 225, 250, 270) (300, 320, 340, 370) grams / 525 (600, 675, 750, 810) (900, 960, 1020, 1110) metres

Striped version: approx. 55% main colour (MC) and 45% counter colour (CC). MC is the colour used on the cuffs. In the sample the MC is black.

Gauge: 18 sts & 26 rows in 4” / 10 cm in stockinette on larger needles after blocking. If you find that your flat and in the round gauge differ a lot, check both a flat and in the round gauge swatch.

Needles: 4.5 & 5 mm circular needles and/or DPNs
Needle sizes are recommended, choose a size needed to achieve gauge.

Notions: 3 spare cables or waste yarn to hold the back and shoulders, selection of clip-on sliding stitch markers.

Construction & modification: This top is knit from the top down both flat and in the round. The back of the neck is knit flat, stitches are then picked up for the shoulders, the neckline is shaped then the yoke is joined in the round before splitting the sleeves and working the body in the round. Sleeve stitches are then picked up and the sleeves also worked in the round. The neckline is finished off with a folded hem. Instructions are given in the pattern on how to modify armhole depth and sleeve circumference for the best fit. Length of the body and sleeves can be easily modified.

Difficulty: Intermediate. This top is knit from the top down both flat and in the round. It uses only basic knit and purl sts and increases, however there are stitches to be picked up for the shoulders and neckline.

• Black sample is size B worn on a 34” / 86 cm bust (0.5” / 1.75cm negative ease) and a 32” / 81 cm bust (2” / 5 cm positive ease) knit in Gepard eco cashmere (150m / 50g)
