A low-brimmed cloche that evokes an earlier era, Amelie has a cool, casual vibe. It is knit with 2 strands of yarn held together (one a feltable wool yarn, and the other a luxurious tweed), and is felted in a washing machine. The result is a nubby tweed felt with complex color. Complete instructions are provided for felting and shaping the hat.
