My take on the Classic Beret which I am very glad is making a comeback. I found a beret stashed in my hat collection and wanted to make one up. Starting with a provisional cast on, this piece is worked bottom up in the round, with increases and decreases to shape the crown. 

TO FIT sizes: S (M, L) - 21 (22, 23) inches / 54 (56, 58) cm approximate fit. It is designed to be worn to fit around the circumference of the head.

The samples have been worked with a DK and Worsted Weight yarn, either of which are fine, as long as a gauge swatch is done first.
