Amelie Gilet
This pattern has been retired.
Short row shaping is magical. You can take a flat piece of fabric and with the addition of short rows create folds, pleats and shaping. This gilet is so much fun to knit that you need to find a little girl to knit one for!
Knit from side to side with short row wedges to add shaping at the front and the back. Eyelets at the front are used to thread an I-cord through to fasten it.
The color variations in this yarn really emphasize the short row shaping, adding an extra dimension to your knitting.
