This American flag pillow is a great Americana piece! The stars are placed in the Betsy Ross style flag, making it a rustic, country pillow.

Some things you need to know:
The pillow is knit in two pieces and sewn together.
Uses US size 8 needles.
Uses worsted white yarn in red, white and blue.

I think that a beginner should have no problem knitting this. There is a little bit of intarsia when adding the blue, so be sure to twist the yarn together to avoid having holes in the pillow. Great way to practice stripes, intarsia, and duplicate stitch!
