A simple school sweater design for our American girl and other similar 18” dolls. It fits Gotz Little Sisters or London Girl dolls beautifully.
Based on a classical raglan stockinette design it has a super but easy cabled collar applied which adds fun to the whole thing!

McKenna, Kit and Saige were thrilled to wear these to go to school! They felt so fashionable!

The length of the collar makes a difference in how wide or tight it is…it is simply backstitched around the neckline to give a wonderfully cuddly collar for those cold winter mornings! An extra cable pattern repeat gives a wider collar.

With a skirt and leggings or a pair of jeans it is a great outfit for our “school dolls” !

It was made with just one 50g ball of baby yarn : about 250m.
