I listed no gauge but the gauge for the pants is about 6 stitches in one inch & 8 rows in one inch using dk yarn in stockinet stitch. The top is knit with sock yarn and garter stitch and runs about 7 stitches in 1inch & 7 ridges in 1 inch.
The pants are knit in two pieces starting from the cuff or ruffle and the top is knit also in two pieces and knit top down. The seaming for it is just a few stitches. A very simple pattern.
