This is a great way to use up the little ends of left over sock yarn! Uses about 10 yards per glove.
Use sock yarn and size 3 (3.25mm) DPNs. Or work flat and sew up the seam.
Instructions:
Cast on 17 stitches
Rows 1-4: Seed stitch: (k1, p1) around (Don’t knit 2 in a row at the end of a round, just keep alternating (k1, p1) for 4 rows)
Row 5: Knit 17 stitches, turn
Row 6: Purl 17 stitches, turn, rejoin working in the round
Rows 7-15: Knit around
Rows 15-18: Seed stitch (k1, p1) around
Bind off
Make 2.
For shorter gloves, skip 2-4 rows between rows 7 & 15. For longer gloves, add 2-4 rows between rows 7 & 15.
