This American Patriot Wreath is a simple single crochet pattern with the exception of the eagle body which is done in a “fur” stitch. Flat pieces are joined together to form a tube shape which is mounted on a 12 inch metal wreath form. The eagle head is stitched as an Amigurumi animal head would be in a continuous circle. Animal eyes are added as well as a beak. This is not a toy, but warnings about animal eyes should be considered if this is to come in contact with a small child. About 1/2 skein is needed for the red and white, less for the royal blue, and a very little bit for the cornmeal beak.

Animal eyes
H/8 5.0 crochet hook
G 4.0 crochet hook for stars
Red Heart Super Saver: white, cornmeal, cherry red, royal blue
Polyester fiber fill for stuffing
Darning or tapestry needle
