Inspired by our beloved American flag, the Americana Knit Beanie Pattern features 4 sizes that you can make for the whole family. Varying from Baby-Toddler Size, Preschooler Size, Teen-Regular Adult Size to Large Adult Size, there is a size to fit everyone! This pattern also highlights working in stripes and fair isle knitting or stranded colorwork knitting.

Skill Level: Intermediate
This pattern requires some experience knitting in the round and fair isle knitting (carrying floats or colors not in use at the back of your work). Links to video tutorials for these techniques are provided.

Yarn: Lion Brand Yarn Wool Ease Thick and Quick in 138 Cranberry (color A), 99 Fisherman (color B), and 110 Navy (color C); approximately 106 yards, 170 grams, 6 oz Super Bulky 6, 80% Acrylic, 20% Wool
Color Options: Claret (color A), Grey Marble (color B), 109Y Petrol Blue (color C)

Needles:
US 13 (9.0mm) circular knitting needles, 16”
US 15 (10.0mm) circular knitting needles, 16”
US 15 (10.0mm) DPN’s (optional, to be used for the crown if the number of stitches are too few for the circular needles)
