The pillows were designed to play off the Betsy Ross version of the American Flag. The colors are antique and the 13 stars have been condensed to a quarter of the original circle. This pillow set was originally designed to go with the Old Glory American Flag Afghan crochet pattern that is also available on my blog.

This pattern uses only easy stitches. There is some minor sewing (using yarn and a tapestry needle) to sew the stars into place.

These pillows would make an amazing and thoughtful gift to any proud patriot, Veteran or active service member!
