This listing is a PDF CROCHET PATTERN for the Amerie Skirt, NOT a finished item. It is written in U.S. standard crochet terms.

The Amerie Skirt is your new crochet must-have. It is crocheted almost entirely in yoslst, which gives the skirt a cool, knit-like finish that not only looks trendy but is also very comfortable to wear. You can crochet the skirt to any length you like. From a short mini skirt to a mermaid-style skirt. The lower hem of the skirt is finished with a chic border that falls in soft ruffles, giving the skirt a casual, elegant touch. The zip and integrated elasticated band in the double-folded hem ensure a perfect fit and hold the skirt in place at the hips. But you can also make the skirt without the zip. It’s all up to you! :-)

SIZING:
This is a made-to-measure pattern, which means the skirt will be crocheted to your personal measurements and does not include any size information.

MATERIALS:
7 (8, 9, 10, 10) (12, 12, 13, 14) skeins of Wollidu Kira 100% mercerized cotton; 50g (1.8 oz), 125m (137yds) in colorway “dark green” or sizes XS (S, M, L, XL) (2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL).

You can use any other yarn because this is a made-to-measure pattern. However, I recommend using 100% cotton or cotton-blend yarn for the structure of the skirt. Acrylic yarn can be too light and may not look good with the ruffles at the bottom.

The amount of yarn is a guide only; the amount will vary slightly as you crochet to your own measurements.

Hook: 3.5 mm crochet hook or any other hooks needed to obtain gauge or that matches your yarn.

Zipper: You will need a zipper of the length you want for your skirt. My zipper is 40 cm long. But you can also make the skirt without a zipper.

Elastic band: For your top hem, you will need an elastic band about 3 cm wide.

Other: Stitch markers, darning needle, tape measure, scissors

GAUGE:
You don’t have to make a gauge for this project because it’s a made-to-measure pattern. But if you want to have a similar look to my skirt, I recommend you to make a gauge.

19 sts x 21 rows = 10 x 10 cm worked in yoslst in the blo only with a 3.5 mm crochet hook.
