AMI-AMI
網編み (Japanese) - knit(ted) net
Made up word from Japanese, different kanji with different meaning, same pronunciation for both. Originally inspired by paper kirigami created for the Japanese summer holiday Tanabata, this fun geometric mesh scarf is modularly knit and shaped on the bias. Two different lengths are provided and the width can be customized on this funky retracted mesh scarf. Any fingering or sport weight yarn would work perfectly for it. Or pair two unusual and very different yarns together as used in the original. Photo tutorial is included inside the pattern.
