Amid the Snow is a two-color, corrugated-rib pattern with a few simple left-cross and right-cross cables thrown in for interest. It is a fun knit that is worked entirely in the round with no seaming. Instructions are both written and charted. The height of the hat is easily altered by working more or less rounds.
Sizes Fits head circumference up to 15 (17.5, 19.25, 20.5, 21.75, 23, 24.25)“

One US 6 (4.00 mm) 16-inch circular needle

I tend to be a tighter knitter in the round, so you may find that a US 5 may also work to achieve gauge.
