Approx. 4 1/2 inches (11-12 cm) using YarnArt Ideal or Alize Bella and crochet hook 2.0 mm
Gauge: 32 sc x 36 rows = 4 inches (10 cm)

Approx. 10-11 inches (25-28 cm) using YarnArt Dolce and crochet hook 5.5 mm
Gauge: 14 st x 14 rows = 4 inches (10 cm)

You can use any yarn (wool, acrylic, etc). If you use different yarn, the toy will be bigger or smaller and you will need more or less yarn than stated in the pattern. Also you will need a hook of another size.

You will need:
For cotton alien:
• Main color yarn - 20-30 grams (50-70 yards)
• Contrast color yarn - less than 5 grams (10-15 yards)
• White color yarn - less than 3 grams (3-5 yards)
• Hook 2.0 mm

For plush alien:
• Main color yarn – 120 -130 grams (160-180 yards)
• Contrast color yarn - 10 - 20 grams (15-30 yards)
• White color yarn - less than 5 grams (3-6yards)
• Hook 5.5 mm

For both aliens:
• Black color thread - less than 5 grams (3-5 yards)
• Tapestry needle
• Polyester fiberfill for stuffing
• Pins
• Scissors
