Amigurumi Alligator with Hats
This is a PDF pattern with detailed instructions for making an alligator with two optional hats.
Pattern uses US terminology. Unless otherwise noted, stitches should be worked into both loops.
NOTE: This pattern was originally designed in joined rounds, but many people found this pattern easier to complete in continuous rounds. It will work out the same either way. I have also added a video demo of Round 1 through Round 15.
Completed alligator will measure approximately 3 inches tall and 12 inches from nose to tail. Size may vary depending on your tension, hook and yarn used.
For best results, use the recommended yarn weight and hook size. This pattern has NOT been tested with different yarn weights and/or hook sizes, so proceed at your own risk if you wish to upscale or downscale the pattern.
