Amigurumi Anchor Ornament
Home is where the anchor drops.
This pattern (US terminology) will guide you to crochet an anchor in amigurumi style, as shown in pictures, made using sport weight cotton yarn and crochet hook C (2.5 mm).
Finished size will be approx. 9.9” x 5.9” (25 x 15 cm) tall. If you wish to make a larger or smaller version of this anchor, you can just use thicker or thinner yarn with a matching size crochet hook. If so, you will need different amounts of yarn than stated in the materials list.
All parts in this pattern will be worked in continuous rounds.
This pattern is also suitable for wool or acrylic yarn. Cotton yarn by SMC Catania was used to create the anchors in the pictures.
Gauge: not important for this pattern, just crochet tight enough so the stuffing will not show through the stitches.
Skill level: intermediate
Materials used:
- crochet hook size C (2.5 mm)
- yarn for 1 anchor, color of personal choice; approx. 45 gr, 123 yds, 112 m

- piece of twine for decoration, approx. 1.1” (2.80 m) long, optional: textile glue
