I used Bernat Velvet Yarn and 5mm crochet hook, however, this amigurumi can be made with any yarn and hook of your choice

With the current yarn and hook, my Black Cat measures approx: 12 cm (d) x 21 cm (h) x 10 cm (w). Not including the tail.

I think I use less than half of the Blackbird Skein.
