Amigurumi Giraffe Pattern (easy crochet)
by Mat Meredith
This listing is for my original amigurumi giraffe pattern. It’s super cute, and really easy to make - the pattern is worked entirely in a spiral in single crochet.
The pattern includes clear step by step instructions and lots of photos to help!
Yarn / hook combination can be chosen based on personal preference, but for the two giraffes pictured…
- The smaller, yellow giraffe uses double knit woollen yarn on a 2.5mm hook and requires approximately 20g of yellow + a small amount of brown. Giraffe ~5” tall.
- The larger, blue giraffe uses Aran weight cotton yarn on a 3mm hook and requires approximately 30g of blue + a small amount of brown. (Giraffe pictured uses Rico Creative Cotton shades 56 and 36) Giraffe ~ 6.5” tall.
Materials required:
- Suitable yarn / hook combination as above.
- One pair 6mm black safety eyes
- Soft toy stuffing
- Yarn needle
- (optional) 3mm knitting needles (ideally circular or double pointed)
