This pattern describes 12 bat sizes from the materials I recommend. From height ~ 2.56 ‘’ (6.5 cm), wingspan is 4.33 ‘’ (11 cm) to height ~ 7 “(17.8 cm), wingspan is 11.85” (30.1 cm).

To create the amigurumi Honduran White Bat, I used the following materials:

-Yarns:
No. 2-Fine (Sport, Beby) (5 ply, 12 wpi). white color and yellow color.
Alize Beby 100 (acrylic 100%) 100 grams-360 m Or Alize Beby Wool (40% wool, 20% bamboo, 40% acrylic) 50 grams = 175 m (you can comb it to make a fluffy bat).

You can take any alternative yarn of similar thickness.

-Hook: US- B, UK / Canada- 14 (2 mm) or
Hook: US- D, UK / Canada- 11 (3 mm) or
Hook: US- F, UK / Canada- 8 (4 mm) or
Hook: US-H, UK / Canada-6 (5 mm).

The hook number depends on the toy size you choose.

-2 black beads or safety eyes (6-8 mm) (or yarn to embroider if you choose) and needle to embroider face.

-Stuffing. I have used synthetic fluff but feel free to use what you prefer.

-Satin ribbon for small amigurumi -3 mm. For larger amigurumi, you can use a thicker tape.

You may need yarn from 7 grams to 90 grams. The weight will depend on the size of the toy you choose.

Bat dimensions and weight are approximate. The size and weight of the toy can be different for everyone.

You have a very wide range of options to experiment with. You can experiment. The head and body are the same size, and the wings are different. And I’m sure you will create superb bats that are never alike.
