These little Kitty’s make adorable little gifts. This project is great for any leftover yarn you may have laying around. The completed kitty weighs around 15 – 20 grams or 1/2 - 2/3 oz. Height is around 4 1/2 inches or 11 cm.

There is plenty of room for creativity, try a two tone body, change the face to the expression you like.

This pattern is designed for flatbed knitting machines. It was designed using a standard gauge, flatbed knitting machine (Brother KH-910). You should be able to use the pattern on other gauge size machines.

Approximate tension:

4” x 4” or 10 x 10 cm = 40 st x 60 rows (2.5 ply)
4” x 4” or 10 x 10 cm = 34 st x 50 rows (4 ply)
4” x 4” or 10 x 10 cm = 31 st x 42 rows (8 ply)
