Mangosteen are a small fruit found in parts of Southeast Asia. This little amigurumi is about the same size of a standard mangosteen fruit, so it is quite realistic.

If you cannot find a 3mm crochet hook you can use a US D (3.25mm) hook; however, you will need to take more care to tighten your gauge. As with most amigurumi, matching the specified gauge is not crucial, just keep the fabric tight.
