I found myself feeling inspired by fertility and the growing bellies which surround me. I wanted to create a design true to my brand that would make a great gift for an expectant mother; the result being this lovely drawstring bag. This bag can be filled with small keepsakes such as hospital bracelets, locks of hair, umbilical stumps, et c.
This pattern is worked mostly with single crochet in the round with the exception of one bobble stitch and a couple rows of FPDC & BPDC. There is just a little bit of sewing that will take precision and patience, but even so I feel this would be an acceptable project for beginner and experienced amigurumists alike.
Your finished bag will measure about 6 inches tall and 4 inches wide. It is also the perfect size to use as a drink coozie.
This pattern is 9 pages long, written in English, and includes several color photos to help along the way.
Supplies needed to make your bag:
5mm hook
4mm hook
Worsted weight yarn in 2 colors of your choice (I used tan and burgundy)
Darning needle
Stitch marker
Polyester fiberfill
