This sunny little chick is not only cute, but easy to make. Although it is based on a duckling, it could be any bird you wish.

You will need 1 skein of each yarn color. You will also need the following items.

• 2 6mm round black safety eyes
• a tapestry needle
• stuffing

If you cannot find a 3mm crochet hook you can use a US D (3.25mm) hook; however, you will need to take more care to tighten your gauge. As with most amigurumi, matching the specified gauge is not crucial, just keep the fabric tight.
