This is a pattern for a crocheted and felted stork and pouch. This item measures about 11 inches (28cm) tall after felted.

Instructions are given for not only the crochet pattern, but how to felt your item as well. Felting for the stork is done in your washing machine. Felting for the pouch is done in your kitchen sink.

Materials used in making this stork and pouch:
For crocheting:
White 100% wool yarn
Peach 100% wool yarn
Small amount of gray 100% wool yarn
Baby pink or blue 100% wool yarn for the pouch (I’ve used white)
Size I (5.5mm) crochet hook
Tapestry needle
Fiberfill

For felting:
1/4 cup liquid soap (for washing machine) felting or 1 Tbsp (for hand felting)
Kitchen sink and washing machine

For needle-felting:
Felting needles
Black 100% wool yarn or roving scraps for eyes
