Amigurumi Unicorn
Charming, mysterious, rare – they are drawn to purity and innocence. Back when we had such qualities, we still believed such a creature could exist. Back when we were maidens, we wanted to draw such a being near, and keep it by our side as friend and companion.
For as long as I can remember I’ve wanted a unicorn all my own. The fortunate thing about adulthood is that we can sometimes satisfy the wishes we had as children. I created this pattern to make a unicorn for myself, and now I’d love to share this pattern with you.
Also, I’d noticed that I’ve had real difficulty finding a realistic-looking crochet pattern to create an equine stuffed animal, so I decided to build one myself. Sometimes mysticism must give way to pragmatism, and necessity is the mother of invention. :)
This listing is for the crochet pattern that will when finished create “Starbright” the unicorn, approximately 20 inches tall by 20 inches long. This is a sizable snuggly creature, and definitely a unique project!
Please be aware that, although I try to make my patterns as simple and easy to understand as possible, you may get more value from them if you are an intermediate to experienced crocheter. A familiarity with sc, dc, increases, decreases, and working in the round will serve you in good stead. :)
Patterns ordered from me will be delivered by email in .pdf format, either as an attachment or a downloadable link, so please make sure you have a working email address included in your payment information.
