This mug cosy was designed for an in-store workshop to teach steeking but could also be knitted side to side if you don’t want to steek.
The design uses 4-ply and less than 50g in total so is a great way to use up oddments fo 4-ply or sock yarn. Thicker than 4-ply will result in a bigger cosy and thinner will result in smaller.
The cosy pictured doesn’t have the buttons attached -- they are optional as the cosy can just be stitched together rather than button and loop.
