Among The Aspens Blanket
Peace & Serenity are what you find as you wander through a grove of Aspen or Birch trees. Seeing a majestic deer enjoying this same scenery is breathtaking. Inspired from the beauty in the mountains where I live I designed the Among the Aspens blanket to prompt those same relaxing thoughts with others.
The construction of the blanket is crocheted using a unique stitch that I have used in many of my blanket designs. The stitch creates beautiful, even and nicely angled lines that elevate the colorwork in blankets.
If you are new to crocheting color changes and feel a little intimidated, I offer a full course on exactly how to work my graph blankets and encourage you to check it out. It has over 3+ hours of video instructions and practice projects I’m sure you will enjoy. Find the course information here: https://sweetpotato3.com/changing-colors-online-crochet-c…
