The Amourasaurus cowl was born from my love of dinosaurs. This
pattern wouldn’t have been possible without the help of my friend Caro and her talent to create mosaic charts! Thank you so much to Caroline Côté for this collaboration! A big thank you to my precious testers!
If you have never crocheted mosaic, don’t be afraid! This is the perfect pattern to start!

Materials
Fingering weight yarn, 2 colors (115 g/385 m ou 100 g/400 m)
o Color A (245 m)
o Color B (150 m)
You will need less than one skein of each color.
3,5 and 4,0 mm crochet hooks (or size required to achieve gauge)

Gauge
Ribbing with 3,5 mm hook, unblocked : 23 rows = 4 in/10 cm
Mosaic section with 4,0 mm hook, unblocked : 20 sts and 22 rows =4 in/10 cm
Gauge is not crucial BUT know that if your gauge is tighter (more stitches per 10 cm) your cowl will be much stiffer. If your gauge is looser (less stitches per 10 cm) you will use up more yarn. However,with 100 g of each color, you will have more than enough to finish the cowl.

Finished size
Height : 11 in/29 cm
Diameter : 10,5 inches/27 cm
It is possible to make a bigger or smaller cowl by choosing a crochet hook 0,5 mm bigger or smaller than the recommended size.

Matériel
Laine taille fingering, 2 écheveaux (115 g/385 m ou 100 g/400 m)
o Couleur A (245 m)
o Couleur B (150 m)
Vous aurez donc besoin de moins d’un écheveau par couleur
Crochets 3,5 et 4,0 mm

Échantillon
Côtes avec crochet 3,5 mm : 22 rangs = 4 po/10 cm
Section mosaïque avec crochet 4,0 mm : 19 mailles et 22 tours = 4po/10 cm

Dimensions finales
Hauteur : 11 pouces/29 cm
Largeur/diamètre : 10,5 pouces/27 cm
Il est possible de faire un col plus grand ou plus petit en choisissant un crochet 0,5 mm plus grand ou plus petit que la grandeur recommandée pour l’échantillon. Notez que vous utiliserez plus de fil si vous grossissez le crochet. Notez aussi que le col sera plus raide si vous utilisez un crochet plus petit ou si votre tension est plus serrée.
