Amourette is a boxy summer tee knitted seamlessly from the top down, with a square-neck and stripes.
Amourette tee is started by knitting a part of the back and the two shoulder bands.
Then stitches are picked over the shoulders to finish the back. Likewise, the stitches are picked over the shoulders and worked to form the front of the tee.
Back and front are joined under the armholes, the body is knitted in a circular pattern and finished in 1x1 ribbing.
Stitches are then picked up from the body for the sleeves which are knitted in garter stitch.
The neckband is finished in garter stitch which provides a beautiful and stretchy edge.

It is an easy to wear design, light, it will be easily associated with all your summer outfits.
You can imagine a monochrome version, or knit it in a multitude of colors.

• Length hem to underarm (adjustable): 36 cm / 14.1”

• Recommended ease between 10 et 25 cm /
3.9 to 9.8” of positive ease.

Shown in size 2 with 9 cm / 3.5” of positive ease.

Please be aware that adjusting the length of the garment will also affect the amount of yarn needed to finish the project.

Yarn
fingering or sport weight yarn.

Show in  « La Bien aimée» 100% merino single (366 m/100g).
Both colors are “Happy accident”.

Approx.
• color 1, c1: (310, 360, 440) 530, 630, 790 (890, 1000, 1170) m of similar weight yarn.
• color 2, c2:  (280, 330, 400) 480, 580, 750 (860, 970, 1140) m of similar weight yarn.

For a monochrome version, add up all c1+c2.
If you opt for a version with more than two colors, the color in front at the bottom of the neckline will be your c3.

Gauge
24 sts x 34 rounds = 10 cm /4 inches in stockinette on larger needles, after blocking.

Needles
• 3,75 mm US 5 circular needles for the body and sleeves.
• 2,75 mm US 2 circular needles for ribbing.

Always use the needle size that gives you the right gauge! Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Amourette est un tee-shirt à encolure carré qui se tricote du haut vers le bas sans couture.
On commence par réaliser une partie du dos puis les deux bandes d’épaules. On termine ensuite le dos en relevant des mailles le long de chaque épaules et en reprenant les mailles du dos en attente. On tricote ensuite le devant.
Dos et devant sont réunis sous les emmanchures, le corps est tricoté en circulaire et se termine par une bande de côte semi-torses.
Les mailles sont ensuite reprises aux manches pour réaliser les dernières finitions.
Les finitions des manches et de l’encolure sont au point mousse.

Vous pouvez en imaginer une version uni ou le tricoter en une multitude de couleur.
