Amplitude Beanie (assigned pooling)
Important: This design is written for assigned pooling yarn in DK or worsted weight. This style of yarn is typically 3/4 a background color and 1/4 an accent color (or colors, as in the case of my sample). This ratio may vary, but there need to be long strips of background color interrupted by short bursts of accent color(s) for the pattern to work properly as written. (See photos for examples of assigned pooling yarn. From top to bottom of yarn photos: “Bad Day” by The Lemonade Shop, “Peacocks and Storms” by Forgotten Fiber, and “September Rain” by Blue Barn Fiber.)
It is possible to recreate this look using two separate skeins and colorwork technique; however, this pattern does NOT include instructions for how to do so. It is currently written exclusively for assigned pooling yarn.
This pattern includes:
- instructions for single and double brim
- instructions for standard and relaxed fit
- clickable tick boxes to track your progress on your computer or mobile device
- photo and video tutorials
- tips to help your beanie look its best
Available in my Etsy, Payhip, and LoveCraft shops.
