Note
・Vest is worked flat from the bottom up in two pieces. The neck and armholes are finished with ribbing worked in the
round after the shoulders are seamed with the Three-needle Bind Off and the sides are joined with Mattress Stitch.
・The two US8 needles will be referred to as Needle A and
Needle B. Needle B is only used when working the short rows for the shoulders.
・Crossed stitches in the hem are both worked as knit stitches to add interest to the rib pattern.
・Count each Sl1YO as one stitch
・Brioche stretches significantly after blocking. It is best to
work the pieces on the small side when knitting and block
them to size after.
・Odd rows are RS rows, even rows are WS rows.
・Vest is made of two identical pieces for the front and back.

Note
・このベストは裾から身頃を往復編みで2 枚編む. 肩を引き抜きはぎ, 脇をすくいとじでつなげたあと, 首回りと袖周りの目を拾って輪で編む.
・US8 の2 本の針は便宜的に針A, 針B と名付け, 針B は肩の引き返しでのみ用いる.
・リブ部分の一目交差は編み目に少しの変化をつけるため全て表編みで行う.
・Sl １YO は掛け目分も含め1 目と数える.
・ブロッキング後伸びることを考慮して少し小さめになるように編み, 指定サイズになるようにブロッキングで調節するとよい.
・奇数段はRS, 偶数段はWS となる.
・身頃は同じものを2 枚作る.
