Amy: A SOAR Wrap
by Deborah Behm
This pattern is
available for free.
This quick, easy to knit wrap was inspired by Amy Tyler, my instructor for the SOAR 2012 workshop, Spin/Knit Nexus and, Amy Clarke-Moore, editor of Spin-Off magazine, who worked tirelessly with the Interweave staff to make SOAR 2012 a huge success.
I worked my wrap in hand spun alpaca/silk yarn on hand and a designer yarn I spun in Amy Tyler’s workshop. The wrap is knitted lengthwise and is adaptable to a wide range of yarns and sizes. My wrap used 50 metres of the novelty yarn and approximately 150 metres of the alpaca, for a total weight of 150 grams.
