"Amy" Big Bang Amigurumi
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
Amy, your favorite neurobiologist, is available for you to crochet. She can wear her signature cardigan, narrow skirt, dark tights, and sensible brown oxfords; or she can don her lab coat and protective gloves for dissecting brain tissue. She is just one of the patterns I’ve designed based on my favorite television show. For the crocheter who wants something a bit nerdy, this is the pattern for you.
Materials:
- crochet hook, US F (3.75 mm)
- worsted weight yarn, small amounts of several colors
- 9 mm 2-piece black eyes (2)
- polyester fiber fill
- stitch marker
- row counter
This is a small doll (7” / 18 cm) so you don’t need very much of any 1 color of yarn.
You’ll need yarn for these items:
- hair
- skin
- shirt
- lab coat
- cardigan
- skirt
- tights
- underpants
- shoes
- gloves
- mouth
Gauge is not important as long as you have a combination of yarn and hook that yields a dense fabric without holes.
